Originally conceived with New Zealand 2002 in mind the model became heavier than I could lift and was be abandoned - well disassembled.. It was intended to be fitted with remote control. The vains were auto directed to face the wind by the large vane pointing to the rear. There was a built-up Geared Roller Bearing atop a circular column that drove the rear wheels - regardless of direction of blades - via square shafts and a differential gearbox. A channel segment ring was used to form the blade framework. Also in the picture an unknown but interested bystander.
