This view shows the weight half way down. At the lower end of the weight's travel it engages a 3hole DAS which through levers disengages a dog clutch between the cable drum and the wheel drive. Added after these pictures were taken is a weight supporting bracket, off the lower part of the tower, used after a run has been completed to place the weight so that dog-clutch will re-engage for winding the drum and lifting the weight.
